Kane joined the business during a year in industry as part of his study towards a quantity surveying degree. Kane spent time in a variety of different departments and enjoyed working for the business so much that he decided to complete the final year of his course on a part-time basis whilst gaining valuable experience working as a trainee surveyor.
Matt joined the business as a groundworks apprentice and is now enrolled on a HNC in civil engineering. After shadowing an experienced engineer for 12 months Matt has now taken responsibility for engineering his first site independently.
Having graduated with a construction management degree from Nottingham Trent University, Ciaran is now SHE Manager after recently completing a NEBOSH qualification.
Sean joined the business in 1983 as a 16-year-old apprentice and spent his early years learning the basics of groundworks. He was always interested in becoming a plant operator and spent his lunch breaks and weekends learning to drive an excavator. Very soon he became an excellent machine driver and has now worked for the business for 33 years.
Tom joined the business in 2012 and is now studying part-time towards a quantity surveying degree. He is now the surveyor for a number of live sites but has shown particular interest in estimating where he has been part of the team that has introduced our new estimating software package Conquest.
Jake joined the business in May 2015. After 8 years in the Fire Service he decided it was time for a career change and joined the business as an apprentice groundworker. In a short space of time he has progressed to a trainee engineer and is now studying towards a HNC in civil engineering.
Pete followed in his father's footsteps and became a foreman after Pat retired and moved back to Ireland. In the past 12 months he has been successfully promoted to a Project Manager managing one of our largest housing sites.
