NHBC Pride in the Job Awards hat trick

We are pleased to announce that three of our sites have been recognised with ‘NHBC Pride in the Job Awards’ for excellence in on-site management.

The announcement follows a year-long assessment process in which NHBC inspectors performed spot checks on projects across the country.

The winning developments, include: Bellway Homes’ Hanwell View, Banbury; Millward View, Staffordshire and Ashberry Homes’ Cherry Fields, Banbury.

Michael Lambe, Director, said: “It is an absolute honour to be part of three construction teams recognised for delivering exceptionally high-levels of quality workmanship.

“We have forged strong relationships with our clients, some spanning over two decades, and key to our success has been our focus on continual improvement to ensure we get it right first time, every time.”

Our company has always striven to improve and exceed customers’ expectations, a strategy reflected in this acknowledgement and also our financial performance: turnover increased by 35% to £64million.

Michael, added: “I’m absolutely delighted, and my congratulations go out to everyone involved at Hanwell View, Millward View and Cherry Fields.”

Now in its 37th year, Pride in the Job is the most highly regarded competition in the house-building industry and is dedicated to site managers and their teams who produce the best quality new homes, built and finished to the highest possible standards.

Neil Jefferson, NHBC Managing Director, said: “Congratulations to all of the 2017 Quality Award winners – the strength of this year’s entries coupled with the judges’ long and hard deliberations over selecting around 450 winners from more than 16,000 site managers should give great pride to them all and their teams.

“Every year, the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards give us the chance to celebrate the efforts site managers go to promoting continuous improvement in the quality of new homes, year on year, for homeowners and their families to enjoy.”
