Following a run of 8 straight league wins, Billesley and Kings Heath Little League team, Lambe’s Lions, has been crowned 2018 champions.

The amazing campaign saw the team, sponsored by M. Lambe Construction, score 134 goals, conceded just 14 and take a maximum of 40 points.

Sheila Shand, Chairperson, Billesley and Kings Heath Little League, said: “I would like to express our sincere thanks to M. Lambe Construction for sponsoring one of our teams this season. The funding enables us to provide local year 4, 5 and 6 girls with quality training sessions, teach them social and physical skills and give them the opportunity to play supervised, competitive games between March and July.”
