M. Lambe Construction announces its charity partner of the year

We have officially adopted Victim Support as our charity partner of the year.

Victim Support is an independent charity giving free and confidential support to people affected by crime and traumatic events across England and Wales.

Last year they offered support to just under 1 million victims of crime, including our estimator, Tom Banting, who sadly lost his father following an entirely random attack by a member of the public. Tom was devastated and Victim Support were on hand to help him through a very tough time.

Michael Lambe, Director, M. Lambe Construction, said: “Naming Victim Support as our charity partner of the year is a great opportunity to raise money for a very good cause, but also provides the team with a method of saying thank you for all the help they offered our colleague and dear friend.”

As part of their support, staff will be undertaking a number of fundraising activities, including dress down days and entering the Simplyhealth Great Birmingham Run in October.

Diana Fawcett, Chief Officer, Victim Support, said: “We are delighted to have been chosen as M. Lambe Construction’s charity partner of the year, especially on the personal recommendation of a family who has benefitted from our support. All the company’s fundraising efforts over the next year will help victims of crime get the emotional and practical support they need to begin to rebuild their lives.”
