Two further sites receive ‘NHBC Pride in the Job’ awards

We are delighted to announce that two of our McCarthy & Stone retirement developments have been named ‘NHBC Pride in the Job’ for excellence in on-site management.

The much coveted title is presented to site managers and their teams: in recognition of site quality, planning and programming, technical knowledge and health & safety.

The winning developments are Alder Court at Leighswood Road, Aldridge and Brueton Place, Blossomfield Road, Solihull.

Our relationship with McCarthy & Stone goes back over 10-years and during this time, we have successfully helped deliver on its pledge to provide the housing market with: exceptionally high-quality, well designed retirement properties.

Michael Lambe, Director, said of the relationship: “What has stood us apart, has been our commitment to continuous improvement. We are never satisfied with just delivering an excellent job. It is all about adding value and exceeding our clients’ expectations.

“We are extremely dedicated to our customers, investing heavily in the latest plant, technology, training and health and safety so that our team and solutions are the best. This is why I am delighted that a further 2 schemes, 5 in total this year, have been recognised with ‘NHBC Pride in the Job’ awards.”

Timothy Lightfoot, Regional Construction Director, McCarthy & Stone, said of the service he has received from M. Lambe Construction: “I have experienced great service as a site manager, winning 2 ‘NHBC pride in the Job’ awards with them as my groundworker, through to forging a lasting relationship as my career has progressed.

“They are well managed and well resourced, carrying in house safety and design departments that help ensure the success of their company and the success of their clients.”
