Bethany Community Emergency Foodbank collection serves up success

Throughout December, staff collected food donations for Bethany Community Emergency Foodbank in an effort to help them stay stocked up during the festive period.

Between January and November 2018, the food bank provided 11,277 people with emergency food support, an increase of 47.18% on the previous year. It relies solely on the generosity of its sponsors, supporters, partners and volunteers to provide essential aid to local people in desperate need.

We are delighted to announce that just under £800 in donations were made by our team to the food bank in the final week before Christmas.

Kevin Warrington, on behalf of Bethany Community Emergency Foodbank, said: “We thank you on behalf of our clients, who are experiencing such hardship at the moment, for giving so generously of your time, money and goods to help them at this particular time. You have truly made a difference.”
