We are celebrating achieving the Best Companies 2-star accreditation, recognising our outstanding levels of employee engagement.
The accreditation marks a significant transition, which has seen the company undertake a period of consolidation following rapid growth. The aim is to prepare the business for future expansion through a strong investment in training and apprentices; the introduction of a number of wellbeing initiatives; adoption of plant, technology and innovation, whilst still giving back to the local community.
We received the accolade for our high Best Companies Index score from the Best Companies survey, which measures how engaged people are at work and how they feel about their employer.
Michael Lambe, director, M. Lambe Construction, said: “Behind every successful business stands a highly talented team and we feel it is imperative that our staff have the opportunity to provide feedback on how the business can continue to grow and be successful.”
“In the future, success will need to be underpinned by an ever-expanding team that feel engaged, valued and motivated. The Best Companies b-heard survey provides us with feedback to help us achieve this goal.”
The accolade builds on the back of an impressive line of awards received during the last 12-months, including: Building Awards 2018: Specialist Contractor of the Year, RoSPA Gold 2018: Occupational Health and Safety and West Midlands Celebrating Construction 2018: SME of the Year.
