M. Lambe Construction donate over £12,000 to Victim Support

We are delighted to announce just over £12,000 has been donated to our charity partner for 2018: Victim Support.

During the last 12-months, our staff have undertaken a variety of fundraising events, including entering the Simply Health Birmingham Half Marathon, a gruelling 13.1 mile course through the heart of Birmingham.

Other fundraising activities, included: a quiz night, a world cup sweepstake and breakfast sale.

Victim Support is an independent charity that provides specialist practical help and emotional support to victims of all crimes, whether or not the incident has been reported to the police.

Tanya Richardson, fundraising manager at independent charity Victim Support said: “We are very grateful to the team for their generous contribution and all their efforts in raising funds for Victim Support. This money will help us to support victims of all crimes to help them rebuild their lives and move beyond the crime.”

Through the charity, victims of crime receive tailored support for as long as they need it, no matter where or when the incident took place.

Michael Lambe, M. Lambe Construction, director, said: “I am extremely proud of the way our staff got behind last year’s charity partner. Sadly, our Quantity Surveyor, Tom Banting, lost his father Tony and Victim Support was on hand to help Tom and his family through a very tough time. It is a credit to everyone that we have been able to raise £12,000 for a worthy cause.”
